Your Role:
Cyber Security Consultants are expected to work directly with customers to deliver solutions while leading by example to junior teams. You will be involved in all phases of the engagement lifecycle, from scoping and qualification to project outputs, ensuring quality throughout.
This role is primarily working from home; however, there will be a requirement to visit customers’ sites from time to time.
Research
All of our consultants receive time and resources to conduct research in their chosen specialities. CSIQ will work with you to define a plan that will allow you to become an expert and industry leader while presenting your research at security conferences to peers and like-minded professionals.

Location: Remote (Occasional UK Travel)
Role: Cyber Security Consultant
Salary: £60,000 – £110,000
Description: CSIQ is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to join our existing consultancy team. Your duties will include adversary emulation, penetration testing, reviewing technical systems, incident response management, forensics analysis, intelligence operations, research, and developing personnel.
Activities:
- Lead complex multi-month customer engagements
- Scope, qualify and deliver projects
- Mentor junior consultants and SOC teams
Required Experience:
- A minimum of three years of experience working directly as a Cyber Security Consultant
- A minimum of three years of experience in delivering technical solutions
- A minimum of five years of experience in enterprise technologies
Desired Qualifications:
- CREST Certified Tester (Infrastructure or Web) OR CREST Simulated Attack Specialist
- OSCE3 Offensive Security Certified Expert
- CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional
