Independent by design

CSIQ is a specialist UK-based certification body and consultancy. Since 2020 we have helped organisations achieve and maintain recognised cyber security standards, and investigated digital incidents when something goes wrong.

As an IASME-licensed certification body for Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, Defence Cyber Certification and IASME Cyber Assurance, we assess organisations against these schemes every day. We hold IASME Cyber Assurance Level 2 ourselves, so we understand certification from both sides.

Our assessments are impartial and evidence-based. We tell you plainly what meets the standard, what doesn't, and what it will take to get there.

We are deliberately small, which keeps us close to every piece of work.

Evidence that stands up.

We collect and handle digital evidence in line with the ACPO Good Practice Guide for Digital Evidence, and record chain of custody from first contact.

Impartial assessors.

We are an IASME-licensed certification body for Cyber Essentials, IASME Cyber Assurance and Defence Cyber Certification Level 0. Every assessment is judged on your evidence against the scheme's requirements, and nothing else.

Discreet from the first call.

Every investigation starts with a non-disclosure agreement. Case material is held in the UK and securely destroyed when the work is finished.

Plain reporting.

You get findings a director, a solicitor or a tribunal can follow, with the technical detail in the appendix.

Tell us what you need to find out, or what you need to prove

Most enquiries get a reply from a consultant the same working day. Investigation enquiries are confidential and covered by an NDA on request before you share any detail.
